Office Modernization
“Penquis did a cost analysis prior to purchasing Compleo. We anticipated we would recapture the purchase costs within the first year of use,” recalls Simpson. Prior to installing the Compleo solution, the Finance department was printing lengthy reports when they only needed a few pages. They were also manually re-keying data into Excel which was not only time-consuming but left room for human error as well. Since the initial set-up, Penquis now enjoys the automatic conversion of spool files to PDF and Excel instead of paper printing. DAPREX also provided Penquis with custom Compleo templates to use.
Eliminating the printing and re-typing of data are not the only features that the company has profited from. The solution has been an integral component of its larger business modernization goals. Simpson believes “Compleo has been very helpful for us to move forward with our paperless office initiative”. One of the most valuable contributions Compleo has made to Penquis and its maximization of the DAPREX applications is the ability to save the converted files to its network drive for personnel to access.
